1 person shot in shooting at Times Square: What you need to know
Reports of a shooting incident have come forward from New York Times square. The incident happened on Sunday evening when a fight broke out between a group of males.
The incident happened on Broadway. The person who got shot was just a bystander and was not part of either of the groups involved.
NYPD said that no arrests have been made so far and they are investigating the incident about the probable cause.
The injured man was rushed to the hospital and is expected to survive.
There have been close to 700 shootings so far this year, which is an increase of almost 53% compared to last year.
