8 killed in shootings at spas in Atlanta: What you need to know
8 people were killed and one person was wounded in the attacks. Two of the shootings were at spas across the street from each other in northeast Atlanta and the other happened 30 miles away in Cherokee County, in the northwestern area of the city.
Based on a video recording of the Atlanta Police Department, apparently, the two shootings are very likely to be related as the police the suspect's car was in Cherokee County by the time the cops arrived on scene.
The suspect was booked under the name "Robert Aaron Long" from Woodstock. He is currently in custody in Crisp County, about 150 miles south of Atlanta.
The FBI is assisting law enforcement with the shooting investigations.
