Andrew Cuomo to receive $5 million from book deal: What you need to know

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo will receive $5 million from a book deal about leadership during the COVID-19 times.
The book will be published by Penguin Random and will be titled “American Crisis: Leadership Lessons from the Covid-19 Pandemic”
He has already received $3.12 million from it and will receive an additional $2 million over the next 2 years.
Governor has already donated $500,000 to the United Way of New York State which works for pandemic relief and increase vaccination efforts in the State of New York.
His senior advisor Rich Azzopardi said that he will be putting the remaining amount of money in a trust for his three daughters.
The deal in the past had received criticism since the Governor was accused of falsifying the number of deaths due to COVID-19 in New York. However, he had denied all claims.
