The arrest of a rapper causes chaos in the streets of Barcelona and Catalonia, Spain.

Pablo Hasél, a Catalan rapper, and political activist, has been arrested on charges of inciting terrorism that triggered social unrest across Catalonia.

Bank and store windows were smashed and police cars vandalized by the protesters after peaceful marches turned violent. At least 10 people were arrested in different regions of Catalonia.

The violence started a week ago after he got arrested. Since then, more than 100 individuals were arrested during protests.

Madrid has pledged to get rid of prison felonies for cases involving freedom of speech.
