BREAKING: Deadly shooting in Texas Elementary school, 14 children and a teacher dead

A deadly shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas left 14 children and one teacher dead. The shooting was reported at 12.17 pm local time. Two area hospitals said several people are being treated for injuries, including students.
Governor Greg Abbott said that shooter, and 18-year-old, has also died. He said, “It's believed that he abandoned his vehicle and entered into the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde with a handgun and he may have also had a rifle, but that is not yet confirmed according to my most recent report.”
Gov. Abbott also added, “It is being reported that the subject shot his grandmother right before he went into the school. I have no further information about the connection between those two shootings," he said. "The subject is reported to have been a student at Uvalde High School and is a US citizen.”
The White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tweeted that President Joe Biden has been briefed about the situation in Texas. “President Biden has been briefed on the horrific news of the elementary school shooting in Texas and will continue to be briefed regularly as information becomes available," she tweeted. President Joe Biden is also expected to address the nation tonight on this school shooting.
The chief of police for the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District said, “At this point, the investigation is leading to tell us that the suspect did act alone during this heinous crime.”
