Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik Have Reportedly Broken Up: What you need to know
According to People, the longtime (on and off) couple have decided to end their relationship. The news of the pair's breakup comes after the supermodel's mother, Yolanda Hadid, alleged that she and Malik had a physical altercation, an accusation that Malik swiftly denied on social media earlier today. Hadid and Malik share a one-year-old daughter, Khai, whom they welcomed last fall.
On Thursday, Oct. 28, the model's rep told E! News she is focusing on her and Zayn's 13-month-old daughter amid the news. "Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time," her rep said.
The ultra-private couple first began dating in November 2015, followed by a brief breakup in 2018. The two quietly reunited the following year, and then welcomed baby Khai in 2020. The pair are also fiercely protective of their daughter's privacy and have yet to share images of her face publicly, citing previously they want her to be able to share herself with the world on her terms.
TMZ reported that Zayn allegedly struck Yolanda, an accusation he denied in a statement to the outlet. "I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid," the former One Direction artist said. "For the sake of my daughter, I decline to give any further details."
