Golden Globe 2021 winners: What you need to know

The movie industry’s one of the most prestigious awards Golden Globes took place virtually today, February 28th. The awards were delayed by almost two months due to the pandemic. ‘The Crown’, ‘Borat’ and ‘Schitt’s Creek’ dominated the ceremony. Nomadland won best picture drama, whereas, Borat was the winner in the musical/comedy category. Best actor went to Chadwick Boseman posthumously, best actress was picked up by Andra Day for The United States vs Billie Holiday. The best television drama series was ‘The Crown’ and Emma Corin won the best actress award for the same, playing Princess Diana. Catherine O’Hara won the best actress in comedy series for Schitt’s Creek, which was also the best comedy series winner.
