Highlights: President Biden's COVID-19 Action Plan

President Biden unveils his newest chapter of the fight against COVID-19 vaccine in the United States. In the COVID-19 Action Plan, which is built on the same science-based approach that the white house has been employing to date, President Biden announced that his administration will:
1- Get more people vaccinated (There is about 80 million people in the country who are still not yet vaccinated)
2- Decrease hospitalizations and deaths from COVID-19
3- Keep schools and the U.S economy open
In the plan, the administration focuses on getting more people vaccinated in the country by implementing new requirements for companies with over 100 employees, hospitals and other healthcare settings, federal agencies and institutions. President Biden will lay out his plan to make sure all Americans have access to the booster shot after they are approved by the CDC and the FDA to reduce hospitalizations and deaths from the coronavirus. The plan highlights the importance of increasing testing and masking. The administration wants to make tests available and affordable across the country, whether you are in a work setting, a school setting or at home. Lastly, the President will make announcements to build on previous funding programs, making more funding accessible to business and specifically to small companies that are the backbone of the country's economy.
