17-year-old Lydia Jacoby pulled off a stunning victory in the the100-meter breaststroke on Tuesday, defeating former champion Lily King to claim the gold medal.
Jacoby swam a final 50m to touch in 1min04.95sec and edge South Africa's Tatjana Schoenmaker (1:05:22) into second with Lily King having to settle for bronze in 1:05:54.
