Malaysia to get air taxi soon: What you need to know
After a tremulous year for the airline industry because of the coronavirus pandemic, Malaysia’s AirAsia Group is planning to diversify. The group is planning to launch an air taxi and drone delivery service. According to details given out by the company, the air taxi will have one pilot and four passengers and it's still in the developing phase. The expected timeline for start operating is 18 months. AirAsia reported a fifth straight quarterly loss in November and is now aiming to raise more than $600 million via investors and loans.
