Manhattan prosecutor obtains copies of Trump tax records: What you need to know

Trump's tax returns turned over to Manhattan district attorney Cyrus Vance.
More than millions of pages of Trump's tax records were handed over by the former president accountants at Mazars USA after The U.S Supreme Court refused Trump's plea to protect his taxes from the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.
Vance was seeking tax returns spanning from January 2011 to August 2019, as well as other financial records. The investigation started after it was revealed by Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen had paid Stormy Daniel $130,000 in hush money.
