  • Production for Tom Cruise starer ‘Mission Impossible7’ has been shut down due to a Covid positive test.

  • The production house, Paramount pictures, have not revealed who on the film crew tested positive and just released a statement saying "We have temporarily halted production on Mission: Impossible 7 until June 14th, due to positive coronavirus test results during routine testing,”

  • Filming for the movie was first suspended in February 2020 and then in October 202 due to the coronavirus pandemic restrictions.

  • This comes after an audio clip of lead actor Tom Cruise appeared a few months ago where he was heard reprimanding the film crew over violating pandemic restrictions. He was heard using foul language.

  • The film is set to release in May 2022.
