Mob killing of Sri Lankan National in Pakistan sparks protest

A Sri Lankan national, accused of blasphemy in Pakistan was brutally killed in Pakistan on Friday. Post which his body was set to fire. This incident has now sparked protests in Pakistan.
The victim was identified as Priyantha Diyawadanage, a factory manager in the Sialkot district. According to Pakistan PM Imran Khan, more than 100 people have been arrested so far. He described the incident as a "day of shame" for his country.
The victim’s wife, Niroshi Dasanayake has asked both Pakistan and Sri Lanka's governments to conduct a full investigation to "bring justice to my husband and my two children”.She said, "I saw that he was being attacked on the internet... it was so inhumane”.
The video of the incident started circulating on social media on Friday which has been viewed by millions of people throughout the world.
The incident began after some rumors started circulating that the victim had torn down posters of the Prophet Muhammad. A colleague of the victim told the Associate Press of Pakistan that Mr. Diyawadanage had only removed the posters as the building was about to be cleaned.
His wife said, "He was very much aware of the living conditions in Pakistan. It is a Muslim country. He knew what he should not do there and that's how he managed to work there for eleven years."
