Narendra Modi to G7 - "One Earth One Health": What you need to know

• Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi spoke virtually at the first Outreach Session of the G7 Summit on Saturday.

• He showed his appreciation for the collective efforts of the guest countries in tackling the second wave of COVID-19 in India.

• The session was titled ‘Building Back Stronger - Health’, where the countries discussed the strategies to tackle the global health crisis.

• Modi talked about India’s ‘whole of society’ approach in its effort to recover from the pandemic. He also said that this meeting should send out a message of “One Earth One Health”.

• He called for unity and solidarity among nations to make sure that we can prevent another pandemic.
