Parler app sues Amazon Inc: What you need to know

Parler, a social media app popular within far-right groups and QAnon conspiracy theorists and members, filed a new lawsuit taking aim at the tech giant, Amazon Inc, of trying to destroy its business following January 6th domestic terrorist attack on the US Capitol by former President Donald Trump's supporters. The lawsuit seeking a variety of damages, including triple damages for anticompetitive conduct, was file on Tuesday in Washington State.
Parler shutdown was caused by Amazon when the later suspended its web-hosting services following the US Capitol attach, saying Parler had failed to effectively moderate violent content on its website as it was contributing in spreading fake news and conspiracy theories. Google and Apple both removed Parler app from Play Store and App Store, too.
