Passengers jump in sea as ship catches fire: What you need to know
Today, May 29th, a ferry carrying 200 passengers in Indonesia caught fire, which prompted the passengers to jump in the sea to save their lives.
The Ferry was traveling to a remote island in northeastern Indonesia heading for Sanana. It was in the Molucca Sea and the incident happened about 15 minutes after its departure.
The officials say that there was no casualty and all the passengers and crew were rescued successfully.

A phone video released showed the passengers clinging to whatever they could find as they struggled to keep themselves afloat.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
Indonesia is a nation with 1700 islands and Ferry accidents are becoming very common. Most people blame lax regulation of boat services.
