Playstation 5 still in short supply: What you need to know

Sony Playstation was launched last year, but it's still in short supply all over the globe. The reason for this can be attributed partially to the huge demand for the console but the major reason is the constraint faced on the manufacturing side due to the short supply of chips used in the device. Jim Ryan, Sony Interactive Entertainment President, and CEO assured that the production will incrementally improve every month of 2021 making sure that the demand is fulfilled. Similar to Sony, Microsoft is also facing struggles in coping up with the demand pertaining to the chips shortage from AMD.
