Prince Philip admitted to Heart hospital: What you need to know

Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh on Monday has been transferred from King Edward VII’s hospital to St. Bartholomew's Hospital, which specializes in heart care. The prince has been in the hospital for an unspecified infection since February 17th. The Buckingham palace released the following statement, “(Philip) remains comfortable and is responding to treatment but is expected to remain in hospital until at least the end of the week.’’ Prince Philip retired from public duties in 2017 and since then he has been rarely been seen in public.
