Queen delivers Commonwealth Day speech: What you need to know

Queen Elizabeth delivered her Commonwealth Day speech on Sunday, but there was no mention of Harry, Meghan, or her husband Prince Philip in the speech. The Queen appreciated the ‘courage, commitment and dedication’ showed by the front-line workers during the fight against coronavirus. She also mentioned and lauded the new technologies used in developing coronavirus vaccines. She stressed that people still need to follow the physical distancing restrictions to make sure that we overcome this pandemic. "Looking forward, relationships with others across the Commonwealth will remain important, as we strive to deliver a common future that is sustainable and more secure, so that the nationals and neighborhoods in which we live, wherever they are located, become healthier and happier places for all," The Queen said in her closing remarks.
