Roger Federer withdraws from French Open: What you need to know

After winning his third-round, Swiss Tennis player, Roger Federer withdrew from French Open today.
He has had two knee surgeries over the past year and was seeing French Open as a platform for his comeback. But, he announced his decision to withdraw on Sunday via a statement.
He said, “After two knee surgeries and over a year of rehabilitation it’s important that I listen to my body and make sure I don’t push myself too quickly on my road to recovery”.
He had previously said, that he is not looking to win French Open, rather he sees it as a platform for his comeback and eventually wants to focus on Wimbledon Tournament this year.
He is currently 39 years old, and no one is sure how many more French Open tournaments he will be playing in the future.
