Rubio calls Corona relief package “fraud”: What you need to know

Senator from Florida, Marco Rubio called the corona relief package by the Biden administration as “fraud” on “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday. The package is focused on millions of Americans who struggled during the pandemic for basic needs. Sen. Rubio said that the bill is not what is being promoted, and will not benefit Americans. Many Republican leaders have expressed their displeasure and anger towards the relief bill, calling it just a gimmick that will harm the economy rather than reviving it. House Democrats passed the $2 trillion bill on party lines last weekend. The Senate is expected to vote on the bill this week. Rubio also said, ”You know, ultimately, it aims to get money into the hands of Planned Parenthood. What does Planned Parenthood have to do with COVID?"
