Rudy Giuliani’s law license revoked: What you need to know

1. Rudy Giuliano’s law license has been revoked by an appeals court in New York today, because he made false claims about the 2020 presidential elections and tried to overturned the results.

2. The attorney disciplinary committee said that there are “uncontroverted evidence” that Giuliani made false claims regarding the elections in court, to public and in the media.

3. The report read, “The hallmark of our democracy is predicated on free and fair elections. False statements intended to foment a loss of confidence in our elections and resulting loss of confidence in government generally damage the proper functioning of a free society.”

4. Rudy Giuliani was a crusader for former President Donald Trump in spreading false theories about election results. He made accusations about legitimacy of the elections in Philadelphia after the results were called in favour of Joe Biden.

5. This ruling will prevent Rudy to represent any client as a lawyer.
