Suspect who struck multiple cyclist shot dead in Arizona: What you need to know

A 58-mile benefit race, Bike the Bluff, organized in Show Low, Arizona turned a scene of the crime this Saturday morning when a Ford F-150 truck hit multiple bicyclists.
According to police reports, there were seven people taken to the hospital after the accident, out of which one was airlifted. Four victims are said to be in critical condition.
The suspect fled the scene after the incident and was persuaded by the police. After some time, the police engaged with him and shot him behind a hardware store.
The suspect has been identified as a 35-year-old white man. The name of the person has not been released yet.
Show low police department spokesperson said in a news release, "Our community is shocked at this incident and our hearts and prayers are with the injured and their families at this time”.
