Texas to reopen on March 10th: What you need to know

Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced on Tuesday that he is lifting all restrictions related to Covid 19 in the state of Texas. This comes after the health officials warned the governor that this is premature. However, the governor said that since the number of cases is reducing both in the state and in the country he is removing all restrictions. “I just announced Texas is OPEN 100%” he tweeted on Tuesday afternoon. 5.7 million Texans have already received vaccinations as of last week. The Democratic leaders in the state reacted quickly with harsh comments on the step. Biden administration has warned states not to ease restrictions too soon, however, seems like most Republican states like Florida, South Dakota, and now Texas have decided not to comply.
