Tokyo Olympics 2020: What happened 7th day: What you need to know

Vitalina Batsarashkina of ROC has won gold in the women's 25m air pistol at Tokyo. Before this, she has also won gold in 10m air pistol and silver in 10m air pistol in a mixed team. So she has become the first female of ROC to claim three medals in the same Olympics. The Republic of Korea's Kim earned silver and bronze went to China's XIAO Jiaruixuan.


Bethany Shriever of Great Britain won a gold medal in women's BMX racing whereas Mariana Pajon of Columbia won silver and Dutch rider Merel Smulders won bronze.


The Dutch rider Niek Kimmann won gold in the men's BMX race ahead of Team GB's Kye Whyte (silver) and Carlos Ramirez Yepes (bronze)


Ethiopia's Selemon won the men's 10000-meter, first athletics gold, quickly finished ahead of Uganda's Joshua Cheptegei, who claimed silver and Jacob Kiplio to bronze.


Tatjana Schoenmaker claimed South Africa's first Olympic gold medal as she won the women's 200m breaststroke final, setting a new world record in the process. American Lily King took silver while American Annie Lazor rounded up the podium with the bronze medal.


Zhu Xueying led China to the top two podium positions in the women's trampoline at the Tokyo Olympics and Bryony Page of Great Britain won a bronze medal in the game.


China is on the top of the medal list with 18 gold 9 silver and 11 bronze whereas Japan on second with 17 gold 4 silver and 7 bronze with the USA on third with 14 gold 16 silver and 11 bronze.
