Trudeau and Biden meet: What you need to know

On Tuesday, February 23rd, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and US President Joe Biden met for the first time visually since the latter came to the office. There were several topics discussed to bolster the ties between the two nations. Among the top topics were COVID-19, climate change, and discussion regarding freeing the two Canadians Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig from a Chinese prison. The two men are in a Chinese prison since Dec 10th, 2018. Addressing the media, Trudeau said that the meeting also touched the topics of systematic racism, the digital economy, and defense issues. The virtual meeting lasted for about two hours
