Yemen's terrorist groups, Houthis, fired missiles and drones at Saudi Aramco oil facilities at Ras Tanura in an assault the kingdom said was aimed at the security and stability of the global energy supply. The newly designated terrorist group, Houthis of Yemen, also planned other attacks on military bases in different Saudi cities: Asir, Dammam, and Jazan.

The Saudi energy ministry said an oil warehouse at Ras Tanura, the site of an oil refinery and the world's largest offshore oil loading facility, was attacked by the Houthis who fired drones and missiles at the site, but there were no casualties or damages reported.
