Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis attack Saudi Arabia using drones and a ballistic missile: What you need
The Arab Alliance intercepted and destroyed two Houthi drones targeting Abha Airport, Saudi Arabia. The coalition said the Houthis tried to attack a civilian target in the Kingdom's southern region with the ballistic missile it was intercepted.
The coalition added it was taking measures to protect civilians and their properties in accordance with international humanitarian law. It was the third day that week that the coalition said it had intercepted Houthi drones fired toward a southern region of the Kingdom that borders Yemen.
The Houthis hold northern Yemen, from where they have usually launched missiles and drones toward the Great Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
